Description:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies within the hospital setting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, including training, monitoring, and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and oversee the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.
- Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and industry best practices, and proactively update policies and procedures accordingly.
Education And Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare compliance, with at least two years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
