Description:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Neighborhood Development Coordination
- Under the direction of the WUMC Executive Director and other institutional representatives:
- Work with neighborhood resource providers, institutional representatives and other stakeholders to evaluate, develop and implement neighborhood improvement programming throughout the targeted neighborhoods.
- Serve as project coordinator for WUMC funding initiatives addressing community improvement and neighborhood change.
- Serve as project administrator for the Washington University and BJC Employer Assisted Housing program (Live Near Your Work).
- Serve as project coordinator for WUMC neighborhood security initiatives within our service areas
- Prepare appropriate periodic reports and presentations.
WUMC Office Team Duties
- Under the direction of the WUMC Executive Director:
- Provide technical assistance to neighborhood groups and stakeholders as needed.
- Attend appropriate neighborhood meetings to maintain a positive relationship with neighborhood residents, volunteers and stakeholders.
- Assist the WUMC Executive Director with special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation of projects and programs.
- Assist with the development and production of the WUMC Annual Report.
- Assist with the administration and execution of the WUMC Holiday Outreach Program.
