Community Development And Transportation Director

Description:

You will enjoy planning, organizing, managing and reviewing the activities of the Community Development and Transportation Department; you'll implement the mission of the department with a commitment to customer focus, service excellence, problem solving, community interests and continuous improvement and provide high level staff assistance in community development, planning, engineering, building safety, housing and related issues.

Ideal Candidate

Will have a combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge, Skills and abilities.

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in municipal management and community development, including two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in planning, business or public administration.
• A Master’s Degree in planning, architecture, engineering, public administration, business, or related field is desirable.
• Possession of a valid California Driver's License.
