Manage and coordinate all branch projects through the use of standard industry project management principles and methodologies. Understand the agency’s mission, programs, objectives, and organizational structure in order to prioritize work activities based on organizational goals and situational pressures. Effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines. Move programs from concept to completion by developing and managing project budget, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the progress of all work assignments. Determine next steps in program management progress.
  • Create and manage the quality control plan.
  • Examine cost estimates and compares them to the original budget.
  • Administer vendor contracts; monitor and approve contractor performance.
  • Implement project management principles, processes, and techniques.
  • Lead large projects or portions of complex projects. Direct and coordinate the work activities of the project team.
  • Manage stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain project management professional standards.
