Description:
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Develops, executes and measure the effectiveness of strategic public relations and special events to support company collection goals.
- Oversee the communication of assigned region providing feedback as a part of the national communications strategy.
- Cultivate and develop new and existing relationships with the media to facilitate organizations media and public relations objectives.
- Serves as a primary spokesperson and coordinate media contact and communications with other spokespersons in the organization as appropriate
- Recruit, develop and utilize community-based committees and contacts to assist with awareness, networking, outreach and collaboration
- Manage donor and coordinator recognition programs events and special blood donation events
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing preferred
- Four years related experience required
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid in-state driver license
