Description:
Communications Coordinator to implement a communication plan with outlined goals and objectives for effective and consistent communication with The Point Fellowship members and the community at large and to increase the voting membership.
Position Responsibilities
- Outreach and Social Media
- Implement a clear and defined media strategy, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, press releases, printed materials etc.
- Update social media and develop The Point Fellowship’s online presence.
- Increase and improve social media consistency and growth
- Update and redesign the website
- Fellowship Communications
- Monitor incoming communications from all sources and respond accordingly
- Forecast planned opportunities with the public and advise fellowship leaders of these opportunities i.e. Pride Fest, Levitt Amp
- Create printed materials as needed, i.e. tri folds, Religious Education (RE) descriptions, marketing materials
- Manage internal communications (newsletters etc.)
- Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership
- Conduct market and congregational research as needed
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with fellowship leadership team
- Attend bi-monthly zoom meetings, approximately one hour in length
- Foster positive relationships with current and potential fellowship members
Qualifications and Education-Required Qualifications:
- Excellent writer and communicator
- Experience with social media
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
- Experience in web design and content production
