Description:
University of Louisville School of Law is seeking to hire a Communications and Marketing Specialist II. The position will collaborate with the Communications Director to promote and protect the law school's brand to both internal and external audiences by conceiving and producing print and accessible digital assets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Communications Director and other stakeholders to develop and implement communications and marketing strategies.
- Design print and digital marketing and communications materials for external and internal audiences (newsletters, brochures, presentations, logos, emails, etc.). Communicate with constituents throughout planning and production process to ensure final product meets needs.
- Plan, shoot and edit still and video photography for law school media and work with law school IT staff to handle occasional event streaming and recording. Coordinate with university or external photographers and videographers as needed.
- Design print and digital collateral for events (invitations, programs, posters, etc.). Communicate with constituents throughout planning and production process to ensure final product meets needs.
- Work with university communications and marketing office to maintain brand standards.
- Work with university printing and mailing services and outside vendors, when appropriate, to produce and distribute print materials.
- Plan, shoot and edit still and video photography for law school media. Coordinate with university or external photographers and videographers as needed.
- Oversee technical aspects of the law school website and social media accounts.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of a communications and marketing specialist II employed in a university law school.
- Occasional travel between university buildings.
- Occasional night and weekend event coverage required.
