The position includes leading and executing relay protection & control engineering projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute relay protection & control engineering projects from design to commissioning.

  • Develop protective relay settings and coordination studies using software like SEL ACSELERATOR, ASPEN, ETAP, or CAPE.

  • Configure and test SEL, GE, ABB, and Siemens relays to ensure optimal protection and performance.

  • Perform hands-on relay testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning in the field.

  • Ensure compliance with NERC, IEEE, and NETA testing standards.

  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and field technicians.

  • Collaborate with clients, utilities, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in protection & control relay engineering (NETA Level III or IV a plus).

  • Expertise in relay testing equipment (Doble, Omicron, Megger, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of power system protection, relay coordination, and fault analysis.

  • Experience with SCADA, automation, and communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus).

  • Leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
