Responsibilities:

 

  • Leadership: Lead the commercial litigation department, offering strategic direction and mentorship to junior attorneys.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing comprehensive counsel in navigating commercial disputes.
  • Litigation Strategy: Develop and execute effective strategies for various disputes, offering pre-contract risk management, negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, and representation in hearings, motions, trials, and appeals globally.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks impacting their clients' operational strength and financial well-being, providing counsel on reputation management, media, regulatory and governmental implications.
  • Business Development: Drive growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding our client base through networking and relationship-building activities.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in good standing.
  • Experience in commercial litigation, demonstrating a successful track record in managing disputes across diverse industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of effectively managing a legal team and client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy abilities.
  • Proven aptitude in risk management and business development within a legal context.
