Description:

Responsible for leading the team who drives our product and service launch process in collaboration with business units that enables the appropriate planning for future commercialized assets. This leadership role is responsible for the commercial strategy, development and launch of the Exact Sciences portfolio while providing critical customer insights, market assessment and planning to optimize our go-to-market approach. This position leads a team of launch leaders, service design and commercial strategists.

This position is the single point of contact for the Business Unit General Managers and is responsible for working closely across the Commercial leadership team to build a sustainable process that allows us to drive growth and contribute to the realization of Exact Sciences portfolio strategy.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Define the process for commercial launch planning at Exact Sciences to ensure commercial activation and engagement.
    • Drive alignment of the Commercial launch gates to the PDP/PAC stage gates.
    • Communicate and drive alignment to the commercial launch planning process across Screening, Precision Oncology and HCT pipeline assets; determine the appropriate engagement with Business Unit teams and Commercial team.
    • Build and lead the team, including launch leaders responsible for each launch program AND program managers who administer or support the process within the commercial workstream.
  • Represent the commercial organization with appropriate advisement and decisions as part of the Product Development Process and governing committees & process.
  • Identifies appropriate milestones and metrics for each key asset and responsible for reporting progress to Executive Management; maintains reporting dashboards for all assets that are in the planning process.
  • Lead the team responsible for commercial strategy and insights, including market research for providers, patients and health systems.
  • Lead the team responsible for enterprise-wide service offerings to enhance portfolio value for pipeline and on-market products.
  • Partner with BU GM's, Commercial leadership and product strategy teams on portfolio-wide launch considerations, service and pipeline launch timing, pre-commercial kick-off commercial advisement, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence senior management.

  • Ability to travel 25% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or field as outlined in essential duties.
  • 15+ years of experience in a commercial space; including but not limited to marketing, sales, commercial planning/operations, etc.
  • Advance capability with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
