We are looking for someone to be responsible for the day-to-day marketing and optimization of GTM assets where we currently have 20 assets including both pipelines and storage facilities. The selected candidate for this role will “protect the revenue base” of GTM assets by renewing existing contracts and/or replacing the revenue with new customers and contracts.

What you will do:

  • Front line to customer base with goal being the highest level of customer service and to Protect the Base across the 20 assets ($4B per year)
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships for our GTM customers
  • Assist customers as they use contracted services from each of the pipeline and storage facilities
  • Applies knowledge of the FERC Gas Tariff to customer’s system utilization and ensures daily compliance with the current regulatory environment.
  • Coordinate between the various operational, regulatory, marketing and capacity groups to manage customer’s contract usage in the context of existing operating conditions.
  • Works with customers on developing and implementing both transportation and storage utilization strategies.
  • Knowledgeable in Rate Case Strategy and implementation and voice to customers in their understanding of the rates
  • Knowledgeable in market fundamentals across the US, Mexico and Canada US pipeline grid to make contractual commercial decisions and protect the base
  • Assists and mentors other account managers in the group with their customers and transportation and storage strategies.
  • Understands details of new infrastructure projects as handed off by Business development and ability to step in as account manager and facilitate any future negotiations
  • Works closely with credit, legal, and regulatory to ensure creative and compliant strategies considered as extending and/or amending customers portfolio

Who you are:

You have:

  • 20 years of Natural Gas marketing and trading experience along with a university related degree
  • Existing relationships with customers across the GTM assets and have experience handling park and loan book on storage assets

You can:

  • Show broad business and technical knowledge, coupled with an ability to integrate and convey complex information in a way that other partners can understand and operationalize
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers

You are:

  • A proven leader who is an expert on market fundamentals and natural gas trading
  • Familiar with GTM assets and customers
