Description:
The BUAM Coordinator of Education and Public Programs is a 10-month, part-time position. The Coordinator will play an important role in developing and implementing programs for campus, school, family and community audiences of all ages during the academic year. Responsibilities include program conception and development, development of interpretive materials for community and school programs, mentoring one or more education interns, keeping current with museum education best practices, serving as a liaison between the Museum and educators at the elementary and secondary levels, and assisting with marketing programs to appropriate audiences. The Coordinator will work closely with all Museum staff to develop and provide support for visitor-centered and interactive special programs in conjunction with current exhibitions.
