Description:
CNC Machinist/Programmer - is responsible for producing machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine while maintaining quality and safety standards. Programming with Esprit (required) 2022 on vertical mills. Lathe programming a plus. Experience with Solidworks and AutoCad preferred.

- Proficient in machine operation loads raw materials and unloads completed parts
- Required to operate multiple machines simultaneously when needed
- Performs inspection of own parts and co-worker’s work
- Follows instructions when selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures Uses measurement tools i.e. digital calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Adjusts tooling & work offsets
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment including top-off lubricants
- Cleaning responsibilities including equipment, chip removal, and work area
- Follows established procedures as well as quality and safety standards
- Maintains safe work environment
- Works under supervision
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Advanced computer skills and professional level of Esprit software REQUIRED
- Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments
- Advanced knowledge of programming codes
- Advanced understanding of machine practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Motivated and shows willingness to learn
- Willingness to teach others the machining skills for them to advance and grow
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude
- 5+ years CNC machining/programming experience required
