Cloud Product Owner

Description:

The Cloud Product Owner will play a crucial role in leading Azure cloud engineering teams to execute Agile projects for a classified customer in Washington, DC. This position demands an active Top Secret security clearance and onsite presence five days per week. As a leader in the cloud security space, the Cloud Product Owner will oversee initiatives related to Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), FedRAMP, and DoD cybersecurity policies, while managing the integration of cloud services and enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Project Execution: Lead Azure cloud engineering teams in Agile project execution, including sprint planning and backlog management.

• Cloud Security Leadership: Oversee cloud security initiatives, ensuring compliance with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), FedRAMP, and DoD cybersecurity standards.

• Client and Security Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between government clients, security teams, and cloud engineers to ensure alignment on project requirements.

• Cloud Architecture: Guide the design, implementation, and optimization of multi-tenant Microsoft Azure architecture for enterprise applications.

• Collaboration: Work closely with security operations teams to manage cloud security monitoring, alerts, and incident response efforts.

• Governance and Reporting: Identify and resolve gaps in governance, reporting, and alerting in Azure enterprise environments.

• Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of Azure cloud services, ICAM, ServiceNow, JIRA, and GitLab for secure and efficient operations.

• Service-Level Management: Manage technical support queues, service-level agreements, and customer requests related to Azure cloud operations.

• Automation & Optimization: Implement strategies to enhance automation, streamline DevSecOps processes, and improve cloud security operations.

• Hybrid Cloud Support: Support interoperability efforts across Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments to enhance enterprise scalability.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in cloud security, IT operations, or project management with a focus on Azure cloud environments.

• Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, or similar certifications are preferred.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Azure security tools, governance frameworks, and enterprise cloud deployment strategies.

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), FedRAMP, RMF, NIST SP800-53, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, GitLab, and cloud-native security monitoring solutions.

  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security automation.
