Description:
Our client in the Cleveland, OH area is seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with a strong background in site civil design, grading, earthwork, and water or utilities projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative and efficient site development solutions.
- Utilize your design expertise in site civil, grading, earthwork, and water or utilities projects to meet project objectives.
- Prepare detailed design plans, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and Civil 3D.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project design and development.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, landscape architects, and environmental engineers.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards in all design work.
- Continuously stay informed about advancements in civil engineering and incorporate best practices into design projects.
- Participate in client meetings, presenting design concepts and addressing client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited U.S. institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduation experience, excluding Geotechnical or Structural Engineering.
- Working towards or holding a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Design experience in site civil, grading, earthwork, water, or utilities projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and Civil 3D software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
