Description:

Duties

• Establishes technical criteria, administrative procedures, policies, and basic guides for engineering studies and design.
• Develops scope of work and design alternatives, considering cost, environmental constraints, real estate requirements, and special functional requirements.
• Prepares detailed construction drawings and specifications for contractors and field personnel.
• Prepares and negotiates scope of work with Architect-Engineer (A-E) firms and other Corps of Engineers districts, to include reviewing products for adherence to standards.
• Participates in meetings and negotiations to respond to questions and reconcile conflicts regarding current and proposed Corps of Engineers projects.

• This position requires a valid state driver's license.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
