This is a unique and critical role to help drive growth and opportunity for the organization to continue to offer life-changing assistance to impoverished regions. This is a direct-hire/permanent position, ideally for a candidate currently based in the Phoenix, AZ market (relocation may be offered).
Responsibilities:
- Set clear goals, investments, and strategies to achieve organizational objectives and fundraising targets.
- Lead a team in expanding the network of sponsors and donors.
- Meet fundraising goals.
- Promote a philanthropic culture that engages a wide range of stakeholders efficiently.
- Regularly provide updates on development progress, trends, and possible opportunities or risks.
- Monitor pertinent data and metrics to inform decision-making and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide resources, training, and support to help the team achieve its goals effectively.
- Work with risk management teams to ensure fundraising activities adhere to ethical standards and compliance.
- Create and execute a strong fundraising plan to improve private fundraising.
- Regularly assess and optimize data analytics for transparent monitoring of fundraising performance.
- Supervise all fundraising channels to achieve income targets.
- Emphasize acquiring new investors and enhancing retention with personalized initiatives.
- Keep updated on market trends to adjust growth strategies as needed.
- Spearhead growth strategies and organizational frameworks to achieve goals.
- Analyze markets to shape revenue-boosting tactics.
- Work closely with CEO and Executive Leadership Team to deploy global growth strategies.
- Create and sustain external communication plans to attract and keep donors.
- Utilize data analytics for informed decision-making to foster growth.
- Promote Christian values across all work areas.
- Ensure alignment with core values throughout the organization.
- Practice transparent leadership with accountability.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Executive
- An MBA or similar degree and leadership experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
- Seeking at least 12 years of development and/or fundraising experience in obtaining funding donations and leading private revenue and fundraising campaigns.
- Experience in marketing and external communications.
- Advanced leadership and management experience with a proven track record of delegating and directing to meet and exceed results.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Nonprofit experience and experience with global organizations preferred. Exceptions are considered on an individual basis.
