Chief Accounting Officer

Description:

This role will be Chief Accounting Officer who desires to make a significant contribution in the CFO's leadership team. Your role will revolve around spearheading operations, enhancing best practices, and introducing innovative solutions to streamline our accounting systems. Ensuring robust GAAP oversight, accurate financial reporting, and efficient tax management are key parts of this role.

Client is requesting the following: Prior BIG 4 experience, Industry experience in Clean Energy/Renewables, strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards. This role will encompass reporting, compliance, leadership, and collaboration. This role is critical in building a high performing accounting organization, drive operational improvements, and maximize efficiency.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field; hold a CPA; and preferentially possess an MBA. With at least 15 years of progressive accounting and auditing experience, the suitable candidate should have exceptional multi-tasking skills, ready to take on various projects in a high-growth environment and show proficiency with various software applications, including NetSuite and Workiva.
