Channel Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to enhance the reach of our products. Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue through existing and new partners.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners. Act as the main point of contact for partner inquiries, providing support, training, and guidance to ensure successful sales and deployment of our products.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop sales tools, product training, and marketing programs tailored to the needs of channel partners. Conduct regular training sessions to keep partners informed about new products, features, and industry trends.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor and analyze channel sales performance, providing regular reports on revenue, partner activity, and market trends. Develop accurate sales forecasts and track progress against targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with channel partners to create joint business plans, setting clear goals and objectives. Align partner activities with the company’s sales and marketing strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about industry developments, competitor products, and customer needs in the smart lock market. Provide feedback to the product team to guide future product development.

What you’ll bring

We believe, that the best match for the role has the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the smart lock, IoT, or related technology industries.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow channel partner relationships.
  • Strong technical understanding of smart lock products and solutions, including integrations is seen as an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and customers.
