Description:
A rapidly growing hospitality group is seeking a Catering & Events Sales Manager to spearhead business growth and client relationships in NYC’s dynamic food and event scene. This role will focus on driving catering sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless event execution for an established restaurant brand, with the opportunity to support additional iconic food and beverage brands in the future.
Generate new business across industries such as corporate, nonprofit, entertainment, and private events.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and tailored proposals.
Manage incoming catering orders from digital platforms, corporate clients, and direct inquiries.
Coordinate logistics with restaurant managers, kitchen teams, and delivery personnel.
Work with the Catering Director to develop seasonal menus and promotional campaigns.
Provide on-site support for major events or high-profile client meetings.
Track sales performance using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, tastings, and promotional activations.
2–3 years of experience in catering, hospitality sales, or event management, preferably in a multi-unit restaurant or foodservice environment.
Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Deep understanding of food and beverage logistics, including packaging, delivery, and large-scale order coordination.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client engagement and team collaboration.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Tech-savvy with experience in CRM platforms, digital ordering tools, and communication apps.
Energetic, personable, and professional with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Willing to travel across Manhattan and other boroughs for site visits, client meetings, and promotional events.
Reports directly to the Director of Catering & Events.
Works closely with restaurant general managers, kitchen leadership, delivery teams, and administrative staff.
Bridges front-of-house hospitality with off-premise dining and event strategy.
