Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a BC/BE Adult Cardiac Surgeon (or appropriate foreign equivalent) to join the Section of Cardiac Surgery to work at its affiliate program at the Cape Cod Hospital (CCH), Hyannis MA. Candidates should have strong demonstrated clinical expertise in the broad spectrum of all Adult Cardiac Surgery. Experience with Transcatheter valve technology as primary operator with interventional cardiology is required. Demonstrated interest in developing niche programs inside of cardiac surgery would be ideal. An ideal candidate must have 3-5 years of experience after completion of residency or greater. New graduates are also welcome apply. This surgeon will join a group of 5 cardiac, one of who works at CCH and 4 thoracic surgeons.

The Section of Cardiac Surgery at LHMC provides the full range of cardiac surgical care for adult patients, excluding ventricular assist devices and transplantation. LHMC Cardiac Surgery has a clinical affiliation with Cape Cod Hospital’s Cardiac Surgical Division in Hyannis, MA. The Division of Cardiac Surgery at CCH is fully staffed and equipped to handle the entire spectrum of cardiac surgical cases (excluding VAD and Transplant). Candidates should have an interest in academic productivity. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Lahey Health (which includes LHMC, LHMC-Peabody, Winchester Hospital, Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital) integrated delivery system consists of over 1,200 clinicians providing care throughout Lahey Health’s network of acute care hospitals, ambulatory centers, physician practice sites, behavioral health facilities, long-term care facilities, home health organizations and care management programs.
