Cad Physical Design Engineering

Description:

As a member of the Skyworks CAD team, you will perform critical tasks supporting physical design methodology. You will quickly become acquainted with RTL2GDS flows and provide solutions for implementing them using open-source tools. Collaborating with multiple CAD team members, you will identify creative solutions to match the quality of results produced by commercial tools. This is a fantastic opportunity to help our design teams succeed in their design process and save future development costs for simple designs.

Essential Functions:

• Convert existing standard physical design flows to use open-source tools. These flows include logic synthesis, formal verification, place and route, parasitic extraction, static timing analysis/sign-off, gate power analysis/sign-off, and rail analysis/sign-off.
• Create documentation for these flows.

Key Qualifications:
