Toyota’s TLS (Toyota Logistics Services) Department is looking for a passionate, innovative, and highly motivated Senior Analyst to transform our vehicle systems to help support Toyota’s drive to become a mobility company.

The Senior Analyst will report to the Manager of Vehicle Systems Transformation and will focus on digital transformation of the supply chain processes with the goal to create a competitive advantage for the company, enabling enhanced customer experiences, profit, and cost optimization, and improving our team member experience.

The primary responsibility of this role is to work with the Manager, Business Transformation to continuously enhance and align the finished vehicle logistics transformation efforts to the larger transformation mission and objective that can deliver value to the customer, our company, and our people.

What you'll be doing

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, build, and implementation of new processes and systems across multiple NA pillars. This includes supporting our intelligent manufacturing operations initiative to ensure our logistics production plan is flexible to accommodate changes that align with our customers' ETA commitments. Strong organizational skills, stakeholder engagement, and clear communication will be critical for success.

  • Evaluation of manufacturing layout at our Vehicle Distribution Centers (VDCs) to identify improvement opportunities and drive increased throughput and efficiency.
  • Identify solutions for vehicle scheduling and sequencing at our VDCs to enable flexibility and ETA adherence.
  • Leverage new technologies to improve analytical capabilities to support operations.
  • Utilize business acumen to ensure projects deliver value for customers and stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with other TMNA departments to ensure vehicle systems products align with enterprise strategy.
  • Identify project KPIs, critical milestones, and benefits.
  • Maintain strong awareness of changes to the project environment, including schedules, priorities, tasks, etc.
  • Support engagement efforts with all stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment of expectations.

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills- creative thinking, deductive reasoning, analytical thinking
  • Domain Knowledge- functional expertise and business process knowledge.
  • Presentation, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline and detail-driven environment.
  • Data Science/analytics- data wrangling and processing, machine learning, process research and mapping.
  • Toyota Business Processes and Kaizen Experience.
  • Experience leading project teams.
