Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR leaders for forecasts and annual planning processes; ensuring overall accuracy and completion within designated timelines. Provides details on overall plan and articulates those details when needed for both ship and shore.
  • Leads monthly reporting and forecasting analysis of costs including research, explanation, and resolution of monthly variances. Ensures accuracy and transparency of results and analyzes results vs. forecast/plan/prior periods, ensuring HR leaders are aligned with results.
  • Maintains PCL global roster of employees. Ensures alignment between Business leaders, HR business partners and PCL Finance on personnel, levels, vacancies, and new positions.
  • Prepares all reporting, including standard reporting as well as ad hoc when requested and ensures all published reports are accurate, impactful, and shared with the appropriate audience.
  • Recommends, develops, reviews, and implements policies and programs that guide the department in improving its decision making and budget accountability.
  • Creates and manages global headcount roster, tracking hires and terms to ensure year end on target result.
  • Helps HR team develop long term strategic plans, identifying and researching strategic initiative costs vs value add to the organization.
  • Serves as lead business partner to the Human Resources team to develop standard financial and operational metrics.

 


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience. MBA and/or CPA/CMA preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical approach to problem solving, as well as a proactive, positive attitude required.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to work effectively in collaborative team required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain financial issues and results in clear and concise manner.
  • Financial modeling and analysis skills, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Willingness to accept new challenges, with a high level of curiosity and creativity as it relates to new projects and problem solving.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
