Business Planning Analyst

Description:

Perform a variety of duties to support the Supplier Quality Operations Team, within the Supplier Quality Department. Primary responsibility: all actions necessary to enable the successful management of budgets, direct and indirect, for Department O05. Associated duties will include: ongoing analysis of data for monitoring budget performance; analysis and explanation of budget variances; updates and extractions of Labor Resource Management data; preparation of budget requests and Basis of Estimate documents; ad hoc data extractions and analysis as required to support the CAM; and generation and publication of various periodic reports on department budget performance. Additional duties as required: generation of data reports for monitoring/managing other Supplier Quality processes managed by the Operations Team; performance of other Analyst tasks to support the Material Receiving and Supplier Inspection operations in SAP.

Programs planning efforts of an organizations activities. Develops information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities. Determines customer requirements and translates these requirements into organizational plans.

• EVMS: advanced working knowledge of concepts & formulas

• MS-Excel: intermediate-to-advanced working level knowledge of analysis, graphing, use of functions, etc.

• Cognos: working-level knowledge of report execution

• MS-Word & MS-PowerPoint: intermediate-to-advanced level of experience/knowledge

• SAP: intermediate working-level knowledge of MM and QM modules

• Fundamentals of statistical analysis methods

• Six Sigma and/or Lean training/certification
