HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Set the Pace – Developing production schedules across assigned Kellogg value - added service facilities in the US and Canada. This role will also manage Canadian value - added services packaging materials.
- Fresh Thinking – Managing production & inventory to balance operating objectives, while achieving on time and in full requirements for customers.
- Take a New Angle – Communicating exceptions and review remediation plans and alternatives with key stakeholders.
- Tools for Success – Maintaining planning system parameters—for example location of safety stock, economic production quantities, minimum run quantities, and line capacity.
- Drive Efficiency – Monitoring the age of product to minimize write-offs, and institute steps to remedy problems by performing capacity analysis.
- Collaborate to Win – Providing timely updates and analysis to Supply Chain partners to identify risk and opportunities.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Understanding of the supply/demand planning business drivers, organization structures, and key metrics
- Proficiency working with SAP or similar database application technology
- Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar software
- Very strong communication skills
- High School diploma/GED with significant, relevant experience
- Ability to travel quarterly to see value-added service operations sites and partners
