TikTok is seeking an Organisational Culture Business Partner (OCBP), to support our growing organisation globally. This role will be part of the Organisational Culture Team, a team responsible for shaping, nurturing and growing our ByteDance and TikTok culture. This is a full-time role located in Los Angeles, Mountain View, or San Jose, California.
This role will partner with several cross-functional stakeholders and leaders, such as our HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, Internal Communications, Learning & Development and Talent Management teams. You'll be supported by our wider Organisational Culture team (comprising of specialists in culture content production, culture events/marketing, culture measurement and culture training and mechanisms).
What will I do?
- Build a deep understanding of our organisational culture, company history and management philosophies and how they influence our ways of working. Our culture is known as ByteStyle (a set of working styles for all employees), and Leadership Principles (additional expectations we have for all leaders in our organisation).
- Build a deep understanding of our business, and the strategic objectives, priorities/goals and challenges of specific departments within TikTok.
- Lead the implementation and/or localisation of company-wide organisational culture projects within the TikTok business, in partnership with the wider OC team.
- Partner with HR teams (HRBPs, L&D, Talent Management and/or business specific OC teams) to lead or support the implementation of department-specific cultural projects. Ensuring alignment with our global company culture and addressing key employee engagement sentiment.
- Create, implement and evaluate culture training solutions and mechanisms to build awareness, understanding and application of our culture amongst leaders and individual contributors.
- Flexibility and agility to navigate ambiguity is required, as responsibilities and priorities may change frequently, to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Applicants should be willing to work from the office a minimum of 3 days a week (subject to change), and be willing to travel locally and/or internationally.
