Responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of an omnichannel organizational culture with a consumer-centric focus through Business Intelligence Center responsibilities. Responsible for effectiveness and data quality of data warehouse systems and IRI Unify POS/FSP models and advising. Also responsible for performing skilled analytics to identify impacts and linkage to business strategy.

Power BI Data Warehouses and Syndicated Data
 

  • Support the Brands, PDL, RBS and Supply Chain organizations through effective execution of business reporting standards that will enhance their strategies and initiatives.
  • Cross collaboration with various functional groups (IT, Data Governance, Brands, syndicated data vendors) to ensure data integrity and functionality of data warehouses
  • Responsible for creating and interpreting custom reporting requests using data warehouses that contain key performance metrics (but not limited to) Sales, Margin, Category Market Share (syndicated data source), Inventory, Shrink
  • Work closely multi-functionally to understand the purpose of ad hoc data request and provide recommendations regarding metrics, data content and formatting to meet the needs of the requestor
  • Routinely translate large amounts of data into actionable findings and format into presentation ready documentation
     

IRI Circana
 

  • Proficient with data contained in syndicated data platforms i.e., IRI
  • Ability to evaluate syndicated metrics to generate insights and actionable recommendations from the data
  • Conduct data validations on a period basis between IRI Unify and data warehouses
  • Investigate any data issues identified
  • Test changes to IRI Unify capabilities
     

Power BI Support
 

  • Provide timely responses to user questions/issues for data warehouses and Azure ICube
  • Facilitate Power BI data warehouse and Azure ICube training sessions
     

Leadership/Development
 

  • Serve as a member of critical teams and committees as needed
  • Provide support for motivating peers and organization as an effective promoter of change and growth.
  • Maintains a high level of individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively and independently, challenges others to do the same
     

The Essentials In Your Cart - The Required Ingredients
 

  • 2+ Years Data Analytics and Business Intelligence experience
  • Understanding of business intelligence applications i.e., Power BI, MicroStrategy
  • Experience with syndicated data i.e., IRI or Nielsen
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
