Description:
We are excited to represent our client in Denver as they expand their Legal Department and seek a skilled Business Immigration Paralegal to join their team. With a focus on immigration case management, document preparation, and client communication, the Business Immigration Paralegal will play a vital role in supporting the firm's immigration practice. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Required Skills:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E-2, and O-1 visas.
- Coordinate with clients, foreign nationals, and government agencies throughout the immigration process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and corresponding with clients.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks and submissions.
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Prepare and file responses to requests for evidence (RFEs) and other government inquiries.
- Assist with PERM labor certification applications and audits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; major in legal studies is a plus but not required.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Immigration Paralegal.
- Strong proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of employment-based immigration processes and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Paralegal Certification is a plus.
