What you’ll do:
The BDS will identify and reach out to prospective clients to cultivate new, high-value accounts and large opportunities. The BDS is the tip of the spear for new sales opportunities and will fill the sales funnel for the sales team. The BDS will also work with the sales and apps team to generate marketing material to be used in these outreaches and networking events.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, familiar with industrial automation, and adept at marketing and communication. They will need to be very proactive as the primary goal is to investigate and engage accounts and contacts not familiar with our offerings or technology. Additional details about what you will be doing includes:

  • Continuously follow-up with older leads
  • Communicate with Sales Engineers and Applications Engineers, providing feedback and information to further the sales process and support for the clients
  • Assist with marketing efforts including open houses, workshops, and tradeshows
  • Work with Inside Sales when needed to solve client issues and create quotes
  • Provide sales support as requested
  • Anticipate 20+ outbound calls per day, focusing on quality engagement over quantity
