Business Development Specialist

 

Description:

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind the sales initiatives, leveraging your expertise to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders. With a primary focus on developers and hotel groups, you'll have the opportunity to tap into a vast network of preexisting clients while actively seeking out new opportunities for growth. Your efforts will not only encompass selling design services but also FF&E, providing a comprehensive solution tailored to the clients' needs.

 

As a key member of our client’s team, you'll collaborate closely with their senior staff and Design Team to develop tailored proposals that address the unique needs and objectives of each client. Your keen market analysis skills will inform the strategic approach, ensuring that we stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

 

With a performance-based pay structure, you'll be rewarded for your contributions, with a higher percentage for securing new clients. Your strong communication and negotiation skills will be instrumental in closing deals and driving revenue growth.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in marketing, communication, Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in high-value commercial services, preferably in design, advertising, strategic consulting, or luxury premium products.
  • Previous experience in the architecture and interior design industry highly desirable.
  • Experience with B2B FF&E vendors is a plus
  • Proficiency in all aspects of high-end sales strategy implementation.
  • Project management experience and technical sales skills.
  • Ability to understand and navigate the design/architectural process to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Experience in industrial design, product development, or real estate business a plus.
  • Strong brand management, trade marketing, and financial skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for building lasting customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel, including international trips.
