Business Development Specialist

 

Description:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification of new targets each week in key markets by leveraging information sourced from the CEO, COO, CFO and Regional Presidents.
  • Lead market research efforts through direction from CEO, COO and CFO and maintain competitive landscape analyses.
  • Execute comprehensive outreach efforts to business owners and C-level executives.
  • Work with the CEO and CFO to assist in the analysis of qualification of targets.
  • Take an active role in gathering necessary financial information to qualify targets for potential fit and structure of the transaction.
  • Facilitate exchange of documents, serve as intermediary during preparation and negotiation of purchase agreement and coordinate all pre-closing activities including buyer’s and seller’s experts, legal and consultants.

 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Related field required, Advanced Degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated success in a Business Development, strongly prefer Business to Business, in higher volume, lower transactional type environment.
  • Demonstrated success with Business Development with Executive/C-Level Leadership and Small Business owners required.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills a must.
  • Basic to Moderate financial acumen required.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing a CRM to drive improved sales results required
  • Experience in restoration, construction or related industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions in any capacity preferred.
