Business Development Representative

 

Description:

This position will give you the opportunity to -

  • Contact potential customers through emails, phone calls, networking, social media and other methods (setting 5+ meetings weekly)
  • Cold calling, creating email campaigns, and setting meetings for sales
  • Qualifying leads from provided target lists
  • Administrative sales tasks as needed
  • Utilize communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers and sales team
  • Prospecting new clients from first contact through setting initial appointments
  • Proactively research/qualify leads as sales opportunities and targets
  • Execute market-specific sales plan for target customers
  • Meet and exceed defined sales goals
  • Leverage and manage social media outreach to set meetings

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Customer services or sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of sales processes and cycles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Spreadsheet skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow work direction and prioritize assigned tasks, perform basic math calculations accurately, and communicate effectively (both verbally and written)
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team
  • Willingness to stretch current abilities to learn new skills
