Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to prospective clients, managing existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to upsell our diverse range of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients through various outreach methods, including calls, emails, and networking, with a focus on the client’s UCaaS and CCaaS needs.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Upselling: Recognize and capitalize on opportunities to upsell services, including:
- Cloud Communications (UCaaS and CCaaS)
- Disaster Recovery
- Colocation
- SD-WAN
- SASE
- Network Connectivity
- Managed Services
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for targeting new prospects and enhancing account growth.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our services.
- Reporting: Track sales activities and provide regular updates on progress and pipeline status to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably in IT or telecom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales growth.
- Familiarity with managed services and related technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of leading UCaaS and CCaaS providers (e.g., FortiVoice, RingCentral, Zoom, NICE, Five9, Genesis) and their offerings are highly desirable.
