Description:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be at the front lines of driving top-of-the-funnel revenue growth. You will play a key role in our outbound sales process, using your expertise in the SaaS space to connect with potential clients in the Higher Education sector and establish strong business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel Comm100’s growth within the Higher Education sector.
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior officials in prospect organizations to understand their needs and introduce Comm100’s digital customer engagement solutions.
- Work closely with the sales team to accelerate sales cycle and extend reach into target accounts.
- Execute outbound prospecting strategies and track your success.
- Maintain meticulous records of interactions with leads in Salesforce.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales for SaaS solutions, preferably targeting the Higher Education sector
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Knowledge of the Higher Education sector, and an understanding of the challenges these institutions face in their digital transformation journeys
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and persuasive manner
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result-driven environment
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects
