Description:
As an outbound Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll make the first point of contact with target prospect accounts within your territory to acquire new customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Reach out to target prospect accounts and contacts within your territory daily through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
- Leverage content to drive engaging discussions that create opportunities to follow up with prospects through a consistent cadence of phone calls and emails
- Identify the needs and challenges of prospective customers
- Educate prospects about FOGO's portfolio of products and services
- Schedule discovery calls or meetings for sales representatives
- Research prospective companies to determine whether they fit our ideal customer profile
- Update HubSpot with accurate account and contact details
- Promoting the organization and products
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Knowledge and experience in technology are a plus
- Self-starter who has the desire to learn, grow, and excel in his/her role
- Strong work ethic and self-drive
- Ability to think strategically and tactically
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with good time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection or criticism
- Experience collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams is a plus
- Highly skilled in negotiation and persuasion
- Patient and able to practice good phone etiquette
- Experience using HubSpot is helpful but not required
- Experience using ZoomInfo is a plus
