What you'll do as a Business Development Representative:

  • You will generate business opportunities in our geographic and vertical territories.
  • Refine your competencies to work opportunities on your own.
  • Leverage our Business Development Team on larger or out-of-territory opportunities you generate.
  • Work with Marketing to drive interest and prospects.
  • Work with Account Managers on select growth opportunities for existing clients.
  • Attend events within your territories to share our value proposition, products, and services.
  • Arrange sales appointments with potential clients based on our target customer profile and matrix.

What skills you'll need:

  • Ideally, you have 2-5 years of prior Business Development or related experience.
  • You have excellent telephone etiquette and a professional phone voice.
  • Experience selling complex business solutions and services.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to adjust your sales approach as needed.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • You are highly self-motivated, disciplined and embody a "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, tact, and enthusiasm in communicating with prospects.
  • Experience with marketing, lead generation, and prospect management is a bonus.
