Description:
The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development team and across the firm’s other departments on proactive marketing and business development initiatives, with a range of responsibilities for project-based assignments that support the firm’s business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with firm events, webinars, and conferences, including logistics, invitations, materials, responses, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain the firm’s CRM database, including mailing list management, external mailings, and running reports.
- Maintain an experienced database, drafting short marketing descriptions of client matters.
- Compile experience lists to support the creation of pitches and RFP responses.
- Help draft internal communications, including firmwide newsletters, invitation content, announcements, and intranet posts.
- Conduct company, client, industry, competitor, and other research and analysis to assist with business development efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, and 2+ years of experience in a marketing, public relations, or business development role (preferably at a law firm or in professional services)
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent research skills and critical thinking ability
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships
