Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Specialist, reporting to the Clinical Services Business Development Regional Director. Collaborate with Avantor’s Clinical Services professionals to deliver customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols, helping to return time back to science.
What we’re looking for :
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/applicable experience
Experience:
- 5 years in business development or similar roles, involving complex purchasing decisions and solution-based selling.
- Demonstrated track record of driving growth through consultative and strategic selling approaches.
- Business-to-business sales experience, especially valued if you have a background in clinical trials, logistics, or have worked in a CRO, laboratory, or similar service environment.
- Preferred understanding of effective business development strategies within the Biopharma industry.

- Customer Insight: Deep understanding of individual customer operations, enabling tailored solutions and strategic selling.
- Analytical Excellence: Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring thorough and strategic business conversations.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) with experience in C4C being an advantage.
- Willingness to Travel: Ready to travel to customer locations as needed to build and maintain relationships.
