The Business Development Manager - Home & Living (SMB) role is responsible for identifying and onboarding high-potential Home & Living sellers, prioritizing accounts that illustrate virality or trend-right positioning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop home & living business development growth strategies that align with overall TikTok Shop strategies and drive awareness, acquisition, and revenue.
- Generate a pipeline of qualified prospects based on opportunity size and prioritize to deliver business development goals for growth.
- Pitch and recruit qualified prospects that meet category assortment needs and goals.
- Drive seller efficiency and seller experience enhancements regarding onboarding and integration to TikTok Shop which reduces onboarding time.
- Develop reporting, analysis and measurement that monitors and optimizes seller onboarding.
- Collaborate and partner with internal cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and drive seller acquisition results.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in business development, mass vendor acquisition, sales or B2B performance marketing in tech, media agencies, or startups.
- Bachelors degree or above.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating project plans.
- Quick learner, proactive and resilient. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust fast to change.
- Structured and original thinking, good data sense, analytical skills and judgment capability.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration, skilled at moving things forward.
- Passion for business and aim for higher goals.
