Description:
The BioPharma Business Development Manager, dPCR, North America, will support the execution of QIAGEN’s dPCR Market Strategy through the following activities:
- Achieve the revenue budget for dPCR for the BioPharma business segment in North America.
- Lead the execution of QIAGEN’s dPCR BioPharma market strategy in conjunction with Sales, Marketing and Commercial Operations cross-functional teams in North America.
- Act as an expert knowledge base for sales activity support for dPCR during customer presentations, product demonstrations and post-sale training.
- Accelerate adoption and advocacy of QIAcuity through establishing collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders in the BioPharma market.
- Support sales team effectiveness through creation and delivery of market-relevant training content in alignment with our key BioPharma growth drivers.
- Influence product and applications development through intimate knowledge of market requirements gathered from routine voice of customer outreach.
- Help design and facilitate local dPCR events to create awareness and support lead generation with BioPharma organizations and regional Biotech communities.
- Nurture QIAcuity user base through routine engagement around experience, feedback and support needs to drive customer satisfaction
- Support sales teams to develop key customer-specific strategies to maximize revenue.
- Leverage cross-functional teams to evolve internal process to cater to the specific needs of the BioPharma customer.
- Forecast market related product revenues and supply chain demands with a constant pulse on key customer inventory demands.
- Foster QIAGEN’ s sample-to-insight offering and develop workflow sales strategies from sample isolation to data analysis.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in Regional Sales, Field Applications Support, Business Development, or Product Marketing experience with a heavy focus in the Cell & Gene Therapy Market
- Minimum education: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience qPCR/dPCR techniques, qPCR/dPCR assay design, sequencing, and related molecular biology techniques required.
- Strong verbal (oral and written) and presentation skills required.
- A combination of expert troubleshooting and interpersonal skills are the keys to success in this position.
- Fluent English and additional language skills would be a plus.
