We are one of the critical teams within TikTok, we support multiple international products and services to explore and develop around the global markets and various channels. The team’s culture mirrors that of a small start-up; a team of entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what's next. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our OEM Partnerships team with a focus on strengthening the strategic partnerships with global OEM partners. This position requires excellent relationship building and product management including the appropriate level of influence and persuasiveness, along with the ability to work efficiently at all levels of an organization.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners to drive growth and revenue for important products & services
  • Identify and prioritize partner goals, becoming an expert on each organization, business model and strategic priorities
  • Explore and develop tailored business strategy and plan that helps to realize and optimize value from the partnership
  • Facilitate partner interactions with cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives
  • Lead multiple engagements simultaneously over a variety of products & services including tech integration & optimization, product user growth, co-marketing & promotions and ToB solutions sales
  • Understand and communicate market/consumer needs and partner feedback on product quality and feature requests to internal product teams to provide better product experience
  • Expand the partner relationship/projects to additional local markets to drive a scalable result. Track and communicate key metrics to accomplish strategic objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Product Management, Partnerships and/ or Business Development
  • Deep understanding of smartphone and IT industry including content platform and public cloud areas
  • Experience with building strategic partnerships, negotiation, and execution in a cross-functional environment
  • Expert and excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a mature, respectful approach in all communications
  • Willing to step out of the comfort zone and go the extra mile to drive results in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with agreement discussions and analysis, and executing agreements.
