Description:
Identify, recruit and develop new broker relationships to distribute GIH solutions for Inbound/Outbound expatriates and High Net Worth individuals across the South-eastern United States in line with the regional growth strategy
Achieve ANP sales targets for a specific territory
Identify and attend industry events to engage potential intermediaries and distribute CIGNA Global Individual Health products
Support brokers and their sales teams on initiatives to develop new business opportunities via face to face meetings, phone calls, and virtual meetings
Analyze internal and external trends with a focus on competitive intelligence and support the regional leadership team to compile reports that are required
Stay informed of macro developments in the market both customer and competitor related, contributing to new product development/business initiatives
React promptly to any requests received from brokers or internal stakeholders
Build strong internal relationships with the Glasgow and Dubai based Broker sales and support teams
Liaise with internal departments and support teams, e.g. telesales, operations, underwriting, and marketing, to ensure optimum service to brokers and customers
Qualifications
Bilingual language capability required- English and Spanish
Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience
Ability to set and achieve specific new business sales targets
Prior knowledge of individual health insurance products, medical underwriting, and broker distribution strategies
Prior understanding of the broker network in the SE US and existing broker relationships is a plus
Ability to work independently and operate effectively and efficiently within a matrixed environment of cross cultural teams
Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational agility to ensure broker and customer needs are fully understood and met with appropriate business solutions
Ability to understand and effectively articulate value propositions to clients, creating appropriate marketplace differentiation
Able to communicate and influence decision making at senior levels
Education level- BA degree
