Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified Business Development Manager to grow our business. As a team member of the organization, the role entails developing and closing POMS software and services sales to new and existing customers, and providing support and inputs into marketing activities to increase brand visibility and market presence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Possess and continually develop a diverse and deep knowledge of the life sciences industry. Stay abreast of the latest development and trends in the life sciences MES space.
- Develop and continually evolve and grow a deep understanding and familiarity with the company’s products and services, in sufficiently deep detail to be able to independently develop and deliver comprehensive product presentations and demonstrations
- Lead assigned customer sales pursuits and the activities required to close sales cases
- Work collaboratively as part of the sales team to achieve company sales objectives
- Work collaboratively across the organization to help ensure an overall high level of customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Leverage CRM and other tools to document tasks and prospect information
- Define, develop, and deploy content for company marketing materials, website, and social media
- Write white papers and success stories
- Support and potentially lead conferences and user group activities
- Act as an Account Manager for specific high profile or strategically key customers and projects
