Position Overview: The Business Development Executive - K12 Sales is responsible for driving sales growth in the K12 (K-12) market segment. This position will focus on sales of classroom supplies, furniture, and learning environments to K12 educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with K12 education institutions, including schools, districts, and universities.
- Creating and executing sales strategies to increase product sales.
- Identifying new opportunities in the K12 market segment, and developing strategies for new product and service offerings.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing campaigns.
- Developing and monitoring budgets to ensure sales goals are achieved.
- Analyzing sales trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of K12 marketplace.
- Attending industry trade shows and conferences to stay abreast of trends and developments in the K12 sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or marketing, preferably in the K12 environment.
- Strong knowledge of K12 trends and the K12 marketplace.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
