Your Day-to-Day
- Coordinate with Bentley’s Account Managers (AMs) and their clients to develop IoT related sales opportunities.
- Ownership of inbound Infrastructure IoT opportunities from lead to close.
- Engage pre-sales team on customer presentations, technical demonstrations and customer requirement reviews for cloud and on-premises software solutions, and related support services.
- Perform sales, marketing, and evangelization of Bentley Infrastructure IoT technology, products, and solutions as they apply to existing and new customer accounts.
- Educate assigned customer accounts as to the benefits of automated condition monitoring of assets.
- Drive sales objectives in tandem with AMs, taking responsibility for sales objectives related to Infrastructure IoT products within your assigned region.
- Enable increased recurring subscription revenue on each assigned account by increasing adoption within the client organization, and up selling additional IoT products and features as they are made available.
- Strategically pursue and develop new customers and business opportunities (we are looking for Hunters) across your assigned region.
- Must be able to manage and interpret customer/owner requirements in the RFQ/RFP stages and provide technical sales guidance based on customer needs.
- Must be able to effectively champion customer requirements internally with product and support teams.
- The Sales Territory will be North America
- Requires 40% travel.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
What You Bring To The Team
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or geology or environmental or other technical discipline.
- Experience and existing client network within the following industries a plus; Civil Structural Works, including Dams, Rail, Bridges, Tunnels, Buildings, Construction, Mining, etc.
- 3+ years of direct experience with instrumentation and automation of geospatial, geotechnical, environmental and/or process sensors.
- This individual will be interacting with customers and serve as the liaison between first-hand application experience and the engineering team.
- Must be able to quickly understand our product offering and pricing schedule.
- Must be able to mobilize quickly to capitalize on new opportunities that may arise.
- Experience with selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Enterprise solutions, and/or other recurring revenue-based products is a plus.
