Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops a draft of the marketing advertising and conference budget.
- Identifies trade shows, conventions, conferences, and exhibits in which the company will participate (in accordance with the current marketing budget).
- Determines, coordinates, and arranges convention/exhibit activities, including speaking engagements, hospitality suites, sponsorships of special events, and displays.
- Ensures that participation with specific AEC organizations (CASH, CSAC, ACCA, CCLC, CEAC, CSBA, etc.) occurs on a frequent, effective, and consistent basis.
- Identifies new business prospects, making initial client contacts and qualifying prospective clients.
- Maintains database (Deltek) of existing clients and prospective clients.
- Assists with various special projects as assigned.
