Description:
We are currently seeking a Business Development Coordinator for our Business Development Department in Natick, MA. In this role, you will work as part of a corporate team to support marketing and client research efforts, company marketing efforts, and a variety of other support activities that assist business development efforts with our consulting staff and with expanding Exponent’s brand awareness. Our ideal candidate is a diligent and organized professional, preferably with a marketing or client services administrative background. The Business Development Coordinator will provide administrative and business support to the Marketing and Business Development teams at Exponent.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development of new tracking and reporting systems focused on return of investment for marketing/business development activities
- Entry and management of data within the company’s client relationship management (CRM) system, Vantagepoint Providing administrative support for business development and marketing aspects of company events
- Supporting corporate business development initiatives, including meetings (scheduling, notes/action item capture), reports and research
- Supporting regular reporting efforts of the department, including report formatting, compiling data Updating and organizing business development team files and information across a variety of platforms
You will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a technical field (preferred) 1-3 years of experience in a legal, engineering or other professional services firm; experience related to marketing, client services, and/or business development is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of staff Demonstrated experience with editing documents for content, formatting, spelling/grammar Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel Demonstrated capabilities of organizing information across people roles and software systems
- Ability to quickly learn or knowledge of marketing technology and software tools Experience and ability to work under quick timelines Detail-oriented High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently on individual tasks as well as collaboratively with a variety of teams and work styles
