Description:

SCI is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development associate to join our team. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to expand their career in client services and beyond. The Business Development associate will play a crucial role in acquiring new business, supporting the implementation of newly acquired business, providing technical demonstrations to both prospective and current customers, and representing the company at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Representative: Actively reach out to potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Client Support: Assist in the implementation of newly acquired business, ensuring seamless onboarding and integration.
  • Technical Demonstrations: Conduct technical demonstrations for both prospective and current customers, showcasing our services and solutions.
  • Travel: Attend trade shows and on-site enrollments, working closely with management to support the onboarding of new clients.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication and documentation skills to ensure clear and effective interactions with clients and team members.
  • Intrapersonal Skills: Utilize strong intrapersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Develop project outlines, plans and timelines
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as needed
  • Communicate project status, updates, and any issues to Executive team
  • Coordinate internal and external events
  • Content creation for marketing and business development purposes
  • Represent company at external events, conducting presentations, speeches, and pitches on behalf of company
  • Identify potential clients and facilitate follow-up with prospects
  • Facilitate company platform demonstrations to current and prospective clients
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong intrapersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows and on-site enrollments.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
