Business Development

Description:

This is a contract role for a Business Development/New Client Sourcing Contractor (1099) at Marigold Security. As part of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing new clients, establishing partnerships, and contributing to the growth of our cybersecurity services. This is a remote position. We are looking for 5 highly motivated and dynamic Business Development/New Client Sourcing contractors to join our team and help expand our client base through strategic partnerships and referrals.

Responsibilities:

Identify and establish relationships with potential referral sources, including but not limited to:

• Law Firms
• Accountants and Financial Advisors
• Doctors' offices
• Non-Profit Organizations
• IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
• Universities and Colleges
• Conduct regular outreach and follow-up with potential referral partners to generate leads and secure referrals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business development goals and objectives.
• Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, leads, and referral sources.
• Collaborate with the Marigold Security team to ensure seamless onboarding and transition of new clients.
• Provide regular reports on business development activities and progress towards goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, client sourcing, or sales in the cybersecurity or related IT industry
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and meet sales targets
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the value of cybersecurity solutions to potential clients
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, industry trends, and compliance requirements
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting
